The Monsters
The Monsters is the collection with one of POP MARTS’ most famous characters: the LABUBU. It went viral and quickly became one of the most sought after figures, not just among collectors but also among a lot of celebrities and influencers. No figure has known such a success in both Asia and Europe. It finds its origin in Nordic folklore and European mythology. Alongside Labubu we can find his friends Zimomo & Mokoko.

The Monsters were created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung. He had a multicultural upbringing having lived in both Asia and Europe which is why his work has a mix of styles. As a child he got inspired by children’s books and folkore. In 2015, The Monsters collection was released and Labubu became the breakout character.
